There are 24 hours to the day. The hours tick away one by one, finally coming to the 24th hour. After which it all resets to the zeroth hour. And yet again, the count begins. Time marches on, in an ever so perfect circle.
Today is his 24th birthday. The zeroth hour analogy is apt, he feels. After all, what better way to convince himself that he needs to start his life afresh, anew?
