Filmy Dialogues

“Ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahin ho sakte Prem” – Mohnish Bhel to Salman Khan in Maine Pyar Kiya.

Giving Prem and the heroine (don’t remember Bhagyashree’s character name) a perfect reason to not be friends, but rather much more than that. I actually believed in this dialogue after I heard it. For all of 1 day! 

“Hum jeete ek baar hain, marte ek baar hain, shaadi ek baar karte hain… aur pyaar bhi…sirf ek hi baar” – Shahrukh Khan to star-in-sky counting little Punju kid in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Then he totally demolishes it in the second half of the movie by a) falling in love again, b) getting married again, but not by (sadly)dying. I would still like to believe the dialogue though, it has a certain charm. My present score on the dialogue: 1,0,0,0 (jeete, marte, shaadi, pyaar); my ideal score: 1,1,0,0

babuji ne kaha paro ko chod do, paro ne kaha sharaab chod do, maa ne kaha haveli chod do…ek din aayega jab woh kahega …duniyaa hi chod do..! – aur director bolega acting chodh do

While we are at dialogues, how can I forget Aap ka Surooooooor….

“Main Riaa se pyaar karta hoon, saccha pyaar, behadh pyaar…(thoda aur pyaar)” – hehehehehehe

“Riaa mar jayegi lekin kisi aur se shaadi nahin karegi…” – He looks so sure of that statement when he says it, he actually believes it!

“Main mar jaaongi lekin HR ke siwa kisise shaadi nahin karoongi” – I just feel sorry for the girl…really.
